2 Things to do with a Ball of Wool

I suspect that if you have a good look around the house, somewhere, you will find a ball of wool.

If you want an idea of something to do with that ball of wool, read on…..

Here are 2 ideas!

Idea #1 – Learn how to finger knit

The video shows you just how easy it is. All you need is a ball of wool, a pair of scissors and both your hands. Make yourself a scarf or make one for your teddy. Just take your time and you will be knitting like a professional very soon!

Idea #2 – Learn how to make a pom-pom

Again this is a really easy project and all you need is a ball of wool, a scissors and some thinnish cardboard. Oh and something round to draw around. When you watch the video and learn to make the pom-pom you will notice that you have to make 2 circles (donut shapes!) – remember the bigger the circle, the bigger the pom-pom and the more wool you will need! Don’t be tempted to say you have finished winding the wool on to the circle too soon or your pom-pom will look very thin and sad and may fall apart. The more wool on the circle the better!

You could decorate the pom-pom with eyes and a nose or pipe cleaners and turn it into a spider. What about making lots of pom-poms and joining them all together to make a scarf!

Let your imagination run riot!
