High School Musical 4: East Meets West – the Latest News!

Every High School Musical fan probably already knew that there is a fourth installation of High School Musical. As opposed to what had been rumoured High School Musical 4 will not be called “College Years” instead it will be called High School Musical 4: East Meets West.

There are many changes implemented in High School Musical 4 in comparison to the previous three High School Musical installments.

Disney announced that High School Musical 4: East Meets West will have a new cast. Fans have to accept that there will be no more Troy (Zac Efron), Gabrielle (Vanessa Hudgens), Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) and Corbin Bleu in  HSM 4. Just like you, I’m intrigued as to who will be starring in HSM 4, after all Disney is known for introducing new talent.

High School Musical 4: East Meets West will revolve around the classic love triangle set against the cross-town school rivalry between the East High Wildcats and West High Knights. HSM 4: East Meets West is expected to be a cultural sensation.

Disney’s “High School Musical” premiered in January 2006 on Disney Channel U.S. and posted the highest ever ratings for a Disney Channel Original Movie at the time. It went on to become a smash hit internationally, airing on Disney Channels and free-to-air broadcasters worldwide. To-date, it has reached more than 290 million viewers, in over 30 languages, across 100 countries, including India, China and Russia.

High School Musical 4: East Meets West is scheduled to debut in 2010. So watch this space…….
