How to….make a Coin disappear. Magic!

Dear viewers

I have always wondered at magic tricks I have  seen on television and rarely can I work out how the magician performs them!

They say magic is all about the ‘slight of the hand‘, which mean using your hands quickly and in such a way that it tricks the audience into believing what the magician wants you to believe. It deceives your eyes and tricks your brain!

The majority of tricks also have props to make the trick work.

I have found some videos that explain how some magic tricks are performed and how to perform them.

Here is probably one of the most well known of simple magic tricks, ‘The disappearing Coin!’

Watch the video and it will teach you how to perform the trick as the professionals do!

Now get together the equipment you will need:-

  • Paper square
  • small piece of aluminium foil
  • scissors
  • sharp cutting tool *DANGEROUS! – GET AN ADULT TO COMPLETE THIS PART FOR YOU!
  • an audience and your own hands!  :-)

Do take your time and ask permission first. Could you be the next David Blaine?

Good luck

The Editor

:-) :-) :-)
