This is a simple science experiment which you can easily perform at home.

Do you think it’s possible to make an egg bounce?
Watch the amusing video below to learn how to perform your own experiment on an egg!
I bet you didn’t expect that to be the answer!
So, the vinegar is an acid and the acid dissolves the shell of the egg over a 24 hour period, leaving the inside membrane holding the egg yolk and egg white in place. The shell of the egg is made from a substance called calcium carbonate.
SO
EGG IN SHELL + VINEGAR =EGG WITHOUT A SHELL
We have learnt that acid’s are corrosive, which means they can break things down.
Most acid’s are extremely corrosive and extremely dangerous and you must NEVER play with them or even touch them!
As you have seen vinegar is an acid and can be used in the kitchen, so a few acid’s are fairly mild.

*Remember – the egg can be bounced but not from too high as it will make a mess when it explodes on your floor!
