I have shopped till I drop today for Christmas decorations.

…….. It has been a busy day today, so busy I am late writing my diary today! I don’t think I’ve even stopped for a hot chocolate break since breakfast. I have visited every single workshop and department today for an update on progress and to thank the Elves for all of their hard work. It’s so nice to be home at last and sat in my chair with a mug of hot chocolate, the fire roaring away beside me and my feet up. Mrs Claus insists that I rest and don’t move for the rest of the evening, she does so worry about me.

I visited the Sleigh workshop first thing today to see how work is going on with the sleigh’s final preparations. The sleigh has had a wonderful new gadget installed, a hot chocolate machine with a milk frother! I am so excited! They didn’t tell me about it so it was a fantastic suprise! It will help keep me warm on Christmas Eve, it can get so very cold. All that needs doing to the sleigh now, is a final coat of detailing with gold-leaf paint. The team have worked wonders on my trusty old sleigh, I am so proud of them.

After that I checked on baby Holly and her mummy in the Reindeer stables. They are both really well and her mummy is blooming at being a mother. I am sure Holly is going to grow into a beautiful, strong little lady reindeer. Maybe one day she might fly with me, who knows……..
