Santa’s Diary – 14th December 2011

………The North Pole is a hive of activity this time of the year! Elves bustling around everywhere. Making toys and more toys at lightning speed! There is a very popular toy this year, which is a shark shaped or ‘Finding Nemo’ fish shaped balloon that you can steer around your room with a remote control. Well the funny thing is that these balloons are filled with helium gas so that they float. As I have said before, the elves are very mischievous and they have all been breathing in the helium gas and doing Donald Duck impressions this afternoon. I have to say, that it was extremely funny to see fifty elves covered in tinsel all talking and laughing in high-pitched Donald Duck voices!

This afternoon, Old Father Time visited. He visits us every year around this time, just to make sure we have exactly the right time for Christmas Eve and the big night! He stopped for a while to have some hot chocolate and mince pies with Mrs Claus and myself, and to have a quick tour of the Toy Workshop before heading home.

I think that tonight and tomorrow night should see the Naughty and Nice List finished! I have to say that Senior Elf Crimbo and myself will be really pleased to see it finished now, as it is a long and slow process. There is so much still to get ready for Christmas Eve …….
