……..My goodness what a day! One of the Elves went missing, Elf Rupert. We spent two whole hours hunting high and low for him, in every nook and cranny in the North Pole workshops! He had been running an errand to the Toy Supply Stores to find out if we had anymore silver paint left to use on one of the toy lines, but he didn’t arrive back with an answer! After an hour Senior Elf Alfie sent out the alert message to say what had happened. The C.I.T, that’s the Christmas Incident Team, were immediately on the scene with their tracker polar bear hunting Elf Rupert out. Frostie that’s the polar bears name, is fantastic at his job and the first place they looked was between the Workshop and the Store which is a short 2 minute walk. He sniffed every piece of the snow but could find nothing, so the 6 Elves from C.I.T and Frostie headed back inside to carry on searching. Anyway, to cut a long story short, eventually they found Elf Rupert fast asleep in the corner of the stores under a huge pile of old mail bags holding on to the biggest bar of chocolate you have ever seen, or at least what was left of it! To say that Elf Rupert was in SeniorElf Alfie’s bad books would be an understatement! This Elves can be so naughty at times, but to give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he was tired from all the hard work they have been doing this Christmas……..
Until tomorrow dear diary
