Santa’s Diary – 18th December 2011
18th December 2011
………After all the drama earlier in the month, when we thought a meteorite would hit The North Pole on Christmas Eve, it’s very pleasing to say that everything is working like clockwork at The North Pole!
You may recall me telling you last year that we had an amazing new piece of machinery – The Sleigh Loading Conveyor Belt! Last year, it was a dream to load The Sleigh using this, as it has a magic scanner built in that scans the Magic Red Sacks and can tell exactly where in the World they are going too. It then places the Magic Red Sacks into The Sleigh in the correct order for me to reach for them on Christmas Eve! I cannot tell you how much easier this was than having five trusty elf helpers on board trying to shout to me which Sack to pick up over the top of a snowstorm! After all my hearing is not as great as it was when I was a younger man, Mrs Claus is always reminding me of this!
The Sleigh Loading Conveyor Belt started up first go today, and a great cheer rang out! Its inventor Senior Elf Gizmo, had very good reason to look proud of his invention! The Magic Red Sacks trundled merrily one by one up the conveyor belt into the sleigh where they were carefully place by a team of Senior Elves. After all this is a very serious business and we must make sure that they are in the right place so that no child misses out on Christmas Eve! The thought leaving Elf Muggins or Elf Tupney in charge of placing the sacks in the correct position, is enough to make my hair go even curlier and white than it already is! Ho Ho Ho!
I am going to have a surprise party tomorrow afternoon for the elves! We are completely on schedule and all the elves have been working tirelessly for a very long time now on making Christmas 2011 a perfect one! The elves love a good party, and so do Mrs Claus and I……….
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!
Until tomorrow dear diary
