Santa’s Diary – 19th December 2011
19th December 2011
………We had a wonderful North Pole party this afternoon! Elves and parties go together and all had great fun!
The party was held in the main hall, which is an enormous octagonal shaped room, with eight doors leading off to various areas of The North Pole and the Workshops. It really is the hub of everyday Christmas activity! Mrs Claus and her helpers set up a massive banquet table in the middle of the hall and covered every little piece of the table with the most delectable delights you can imagine! Though I have to say that there was a lot more sweet fare than savoury, due to the sweet teeth we all have here at The North Pole! It is just as well that the Tooth Fairy enjoys coming to visit!
Elf Candy, Elf Tinkles and their band The Elfinators struck-up some suitably festive music, add in the amazing laser light show that Senior Elf Gizmo provided and we had a real rocking Christmas party! All of the young elves were on the dance floor dancing their little legs off, even Mrs Claus and I took to the floor for a Christmas boogie! The party food and hot chocolate, along with the dancing, music and light show was going down a treat!
After a couple of hours we decided to take the party out into The Village Square, for an impromptu snowball fight! And, my oh my, what a snowball fight it was! Snowballs were whizzing past my ears at the speed of light! After getting pelted with snowballs and several of them going down my neck I decided it was time to leave the young elves to their fun.
It’s always good to have a great party, after all there is a lot of hard work to be done between now and Christmas Eve…..
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!
Until tomorrow dear diary
