Hi girls and boys
I bet your counting the days now! Four more days to go on your Advent Calendars.
Then you know what day it is! CHRISTMAS DAY!!

…….. We had a minor glitch today in the Departure Hall when one of the conveyor belts bringing the sacks from the Wrapping Department jammed up. Fortunately it was only a small problem as some of the material from one of the sacks had caught in the mechanism. It was easily fixed and back working again quite quickly. It would have been pretty disasterous if it had been a bigger problem so close to Christmas Eve!
The Christmas Spirit is at a peak now and all you can hear where ever you go at the North Pole is the sound of Elves happy at the work and singing Christmas Carols and my favourite ‘Jingle Bells’. The reindeer are leaping about in their stalls now as their special feed has made their magic hooves very light and frisky indeed. They are desperate to fly the Sleigh on Christmas Eve! Mrs Claus and her helpers have done a superb job on keeping us all fed and happy and building stores for our huge Christmas Feast. Another group of Elves have been around adorning anything that doesn’t move (and in some cases that does move!) with Christmas decorations of every size, shape, design and colour. Only just the other day Senior Elf Gringle came to me complaining that they had decorated him when he was napping in the corner after dinner! He wasn’t very amused to find he was wearing red, sparkly bauble earrings and had holly placed in his beard! I patted him on the back and agreed with him that they were very mischevious, but afterwards I couldn’t help but chuckle and what he had looked like……
Until tomorrow dear diary
