………Today we have begun to load the Sleigh using Head Engineer Elf Ernie’s new Sleigh Loading Conveyor Belt that he installed earlier this month. So far it has worked like a dream! There are three very busy teams – one team is in the Sack Packing Room loading the shiny red sacks onto the Sleigh Loading Conveyor Belt, the second team is at the other end of the Conveyor Belt in the Sleigh Room taking the shiny red sacks off of the Conveyor Belt in careful order as the machine has already sorted where the sacks need to be placed within the Sleigh. The third and final team are in the Sleigh loading the sacks carefully into their correct positions, making sure as to not drop or break any of the presents as they work. The elves really do work like lightning and with incredible preciseness. Sometimes watching them work becomes ‘blurry’ to the eyes, as they move so fast!
The Sleigh Valet Team are busy moving around the Sleigh using polishing cloths and plenty of ‘elbow-grease’! They always do a lovely job on polishing the Sleigh before the Big Night! They will polish the Sleigh twice everyday now up until Christmas Eve. That is a lot of polishing! They are all doing such a fantastic job and, most importantly, all of our Big Night preperations are running smoothly and on time! The only problem that is hovering on the horizon, is that they have forecast a major blizzard on Christmas Eve, directly above the North Pole! This may cause us some pretty major problems on our launch and flight. My dear old friend Rudolph is on stand-by just in case we need his glowing red nose to show us the way……..
Until tomorrow dear diary
