Santa’s Diary – 20th December 2011

………Ho Ho Ho to you all! I am getting so excited and can’t wait until Christmas Eve to deliver all your presents!

As Christmas Eve grows ever closer, the Magic of Christmas makes me even more ‘Santa Clausy’ than normal! My big white beard grows and so does my belly! And my cheeks glow red whilst my eyes sparkle like stars. I also find it extremely difficult to stand still and sleeping is nearly impossible! Poor Mrs Claus often awakes the week before Christmas to find me pacing around my study checking and re-checking the Naughty and Nice List among other things! I would never forgive myself if I got the Naughty and Nice List wrong, not even for one single child! Christmas is far too important an event to make mistakes with. It is my biggest wish that the Spirit of Christmas lives in everyones hearts, especially the children of the World.

I popped down to the Reindeer Stables today to see how my old friends the Reindeer are doing. They are looking and feeling superb and already for the Big Night! And they have certainly been eating their Secret Reindeer Feed by the bucketful! I found Head Elf Ned trying to persuade Prancer and Comet to come down from the ceiling where they were merrily completing laps of their big barn! Elf Candy managed to persuade them in the end with a bag full of Mrs Claus’ famous extra chocolate double chocolicious glazed cookies! I have to say, like Prancer and Comet, I am very partial to those cookies too………..
