Santa’s Diary – 21st December 2011
21st December 2011
………My goodness gracious me, I am late in getting to my desk to write my diary tonight! We have had the most tremendous blizzard here at The North Pole and it has been blowing all day. We have had nearly five feet of snow all in all,so you can imagine that it has caused utter chaos! Our internet connection was interrupted for most of the day and it took a lot of elves working very hard to get the connection back up. It is just as well that they didn’t ask me as I would not have had the slightest idea as to where to begin.
The snow plough has been through the village and cleared a path through the snow and the village square is almost completely clear now, so many of the younger elves have headed out to play in the fresh snow. There are amazing snowmen and snow sculptures dotted around, snow balls whizzing overhead and the sled run is the busiest I have seen it all year! In fact earlier, Mrs Claus and myself headed out and built a snowman of our own. It was quite a good one if I say so myself and we even gave him my favourite red scarf to keep him warm!
Just a short entry tonight as it is late and I need some sleep before Christmas Eve and Big Night! Sleep tight children, not long now…..
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!
Until tomorrow dear diary
