Hello kids

Two more sleeps till you wake up to Christmas Day! Its so exciting!

……..Nearly there! My feet and fingers are tingling with excitement! We had a short break in the blizzard at one point today and I decided to take Mrs Claus out for a walk and a spot of sledging! We had a  fantastic time! My old wooden two-up sledge had a few cobwebs on it from being kept in the back of the store, but a quick brush off and it was like new again. We wrapped up really warm and put some nice thick gloves on and strolled to the top of the village. The snow was so thick and fluffy that at times Mrs Claus and I were in it well over our knees. Mrs Claus laughed her socks off when I fell over and all you could see was my legs and feet waving in the air! We boarded the sledge at the top of the hill and with a bit of a push and much hysterical laughter we sped down to the village at top speed! Wow! What great fun! I think we did this about four times, so as you can imagine we were pretty tired when we got back inside.

The preparations are going wonderfully and everything is upto date and on schedule. The sleigh is in the Departure Hall, gleaming and glistening. They have begun to load the sacks into the sleigh in very careful Country by Country order. I myself have noticed as usual that my beard has become very full and snow white, whilst my cheeks are rosy and my eyes twinkling. I too, like the reindeer, am brimming over with magic ready for the big night……..
