Read Santa’s Diary – 3rd December 2011
3rd December 2011
………I am very late writing in you tonight Dear Diary! What a dramatic day it has been! Our Santa’s Space and Weather Observatory Station detected a small meteorite heading straight for The North Pole two weeks before Christmas Eve! As you can imagine there has been utter pandemonium throughout the village. Everybody was asking the same question, how could we stop the meteorite smashing into The North Pole and destroying the village and all of the presents for all of the children in the world! There would be no more Christmas ever if this meteorite were to hit!
Myself and the Senior Elves held an emergency meeting to try and find a solution to this terrible news and to try and save The North Pole and Christmas! There were a few ideas talked about but none of them seemed to be big and bold enough to save The North Pole. Then Senior Elf Misteltoe had the a novel idea to use ‘magic’ to save The North Pole. The plan involved sending out a message to all the White Wolves within a 100km’s of The North Pole, so that they could howl a huge cry of help to all the Snow Bears in the Arctic Circle, telling them to come to The North Pole as fast as they could to save Christmas! I hoped that a very special Snow Bear might be able to get to The North Pole in time, Nanuk’ The King of the Snow Bears. Nanuk is a mighty and magical old Snow Bear who roams the Arctic Circle and is seldom seen.
The White Wolves were summoned to the village and they all gathered around for me to tell them of the important task that we needed their help with. Of course Chief White Wolf and indeed all of the wolves were more than happy to help us save Christmas for all of the children in the world! They have now left the village to howl their cry help far and wide across the Arctic Circle. Let us hope that the Snow Bears hear the message and start to gather here at The North Pole………
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a goodnight!
Until tomorrow dear diary
