“This is more of a test than a review. I own the red and orange WowWee Light Strike Assault Strikers and was shooting the included light strike target in cloudy overcast conditions. The rifles alone hit the target at approx. 105-107ft. When I added the scope attachment it gave me another 55ft. It may be possible to get even more range because I was running out of room. Shooting in darker conditions may give you more range as well. I also found out that when you shoot the sensors on the gun itself you get different results depending on if you shoot the side of the gun or a direct hit on the front of the gun. It takes multiple shots to the side of a gun to take a full bar away from your health indicator and only one direct shot to the front of the gun to take away a full bar (3 bars total then your gun is disabled). There is a button for different types of shots but I didn’t notice any difference in range when changing the type of shots, but it did affect the amount of ammo used. I didn’t purchase any pistols because for a few extra dollars the rifles give you the option of adding attachments, and I believe more range. However the I think the pistols give you unlimited shots without having to reload. I think the WowWee Light Strike Assault Striker will be awesome when I actually get a chance to play a real game.
